    Hi, About 3 weeks ago we were watching a documentary on Black Sabbath and listening using my home stereo. I have a Yamaha C-70 / M-70 driving a pair of AR-9 speakers. Anyway, just as the program ended my M-70 went up in SMOKE. I kid you not. There was a cloud half way filling the living...

    Need some advice

    I still have my Yamaha M70 and C70 from when I was in the service in the early 1980s. One of the channels has started not to work. Would it be better to buy some new components or have what I have refurbished and repaired?

    Yamaha M-70, C-70 setup. Powered Subwoofer question

    I want to run my pre amp to a powered Subwoofer and then to the amp. My Yamaha M-70 is rated at 250W RMS if I remember correctly...my speaker (currently) are Yamaha ns-30T (100 Watts). Is a 250W powered subwoofer or a 100 watt Powered subwoofer a better choice with my speakers. thank you
