I don't believe the Greek auctions are legit...

Can't say. Looks like re-listings of sales that didn't get paid. I know that there were several pairs listed last year on ebay and canuck audiomart in the range of 800-1000 so they don't seen totally out of line. Oh, and a search of CL shows several pair for sale as well.

in that condition, I would be asking top price for them and I bet someone will buy them

Someone will be very happy too. They are really nice speakers and easy to live with. I have 2 pairs. I hope you find someone local who appreciates these but it might take time for serious buyer to find you. I would expect to sell a pair in top condition for $600 - $800. Take your time and sell them locally.

Where are you located, friend? Shipping is always an issue when selling larger speakers like those.

Its pretty easy to EDIT your User settings and add Location to your info for situations like this.

Otherwise, its hard to tell. A lot of the value of an audio sale depends on where they are (Location, location, location) -
but you don't HAVE any location showing - a pair of JBLs in Northridge CA sell for less that a similar pair in NYC or a pair on Oslo.

Also, maybe someone will make an offer if they are local to you?
