Let's get ready for the Saturday October 19th Fall 2019 FrankenFest!

As usual we've locked in the American Legion Lodge in Sutton, MA for Saturday October 19, 2019.
We have the room from 11AM until 5 PM.

The location is just off of route 146 south of the Mass Pike (I90).

Dudley-Gendron American Legion
156 Boston Rd
Sutton, MA 01590

Here's the Barter Town thread (visible to AK subscribers only):

The room costs us $250.
I've already paid for the room for this event from excess proceeds from the March event.

Entry fee for this event will be $5 per person (kids and spouses are free).
This money will go toward paying for the next event's room fees.
Left over funds will be donated to AK and/ a charity.

There's more -
We are not allowed to bring alcohol onsite or drink out in the parking lots - but - there is a bar adjacent to our room for those who crave a brewski with the friendly and colorful locals.

There is a kitchen area where we can use the refrigerator and also warm food - but don't plan on cooking a meal there (sorry Ed).

As we saw last time there are tables available.

BUT - last time some people used 2-3 tables which meant folks who came later were deprived - so let's limit everyone to one table each, if there are extra tables available after 12:30 then folks can grab a second table. Of course everyone is free to bring their own tables.
.
We should bring extension cords and power strips.
Also, if you're setting up a system bring extra cables.

They have an ATM in the bar (could be dangerous, I know).

Plenty of parking and no stairs from the parking lot so loading and unloading will be easy.

If anyone would like to put on a presentation or seminar that would be great - just let me know.

Glenn aka GD70 is going to once again coordinate some listening sessions (I know, like herding cats). That went very well last time.

At the end of the day we'll have a reverse auction - for motivated sellers.

It's wonderful that we can continue the FrankenFest tradition.
For now it looks like a Fall (October) and Winter (March) event schedule works out well so we'll stick to that.

And it falls just 2 days before my 27th annual 26th Birthday.

@GD70 , I'd like to claim a spot for the listening session shenanigans. I have some random oddities that I've cobbled together into a system that will make for an interesting demo. :beatnik:

Of course!
Looking forward to seeing everyone again, and just maybe some of you can come on down to the Lodge meet on Sept 14th! Music fest hopping!

He gents,
I won't be making it this time. My daughters engagement party is on the 19th, the only date family members from both families are available, so I'll pass the baton this time round for music cop and herding the cats for the listening sessions.
I'll miss you all, but maybe a few of you can make it down south the Lodge meet in two weeks, so I won't feel so lonely!
Anyway, l look forward to the Spring Frankenfest.
Glenn

Bummer a but congratulations on your daughters engagement, that’s terrific.

With any luck, I'll be there. Should have some interesting gizmos and gadgets to show off if there's time.

I’ll be there and am looking forward to seeing the crew.
