$10 Mystery Speakers: Canton, OH, Edition

Does anyone recognize these? They remind me of Bostons, but the driver arrangement is not any I'm familiar with. Piqued my curiosity, though.

They look DIY to me, but I have seen a lot of brand name speakers that appear that way to me.

They appear to be in nasty shape. You see the vinyl only on one side, and it appears to be all in blisters - maybe water damage? Ugly as hell too

There was another pair of speakers on Akron CL the other day for $40, and the seller wrote he did not know the make. Looked suspiciously like AR to me. Now I can't find them anymore. Darn, they probably were!

They look like the kind of dreck that came with rental agency cheap crapola systems "rack" systems....large in size but small in performance...I'd take a pass....
