you guys are great. i'm looking at wm5's at present. i've also looked at a pair of hammond 7591 organ amps and a pair of bogen mo100a pa amps, but i get the feeling i'mout of my depth here. my predilection for music made with the hammond b3 makes me think hammond amps might be appropriate but that might be the liquor talking. the bogen amps were built for p.a. use, but the price is right. also; does anyone want to address the notion of a pair of scott 240's?

If the liquor is talking before noon, you're having way more fun than I am!

The Heaths are probably a good bet. Tubed organ amps often go for a steal and have amazing iron in the power supplies. Anything vintage will really need restoration before it will really shine. Dollar for dollar, it's hard to beat a pair of monoblock organ amps.

The Heaths would be my first choice from that bunch. Great output iron (IF they have the '458 output transformers), and tube types that have lots of 'depth' as far as available replacements are concerned. 7591s are relatively scarce (only one or two companies still make them) while 6L6s (as in the Heaths) are everywhere, in every possible variation, still being produced.
