Well, this is my 1000th post....All too quick, most think. Thanks to everyone at AK for making such a great forum. I will be catching up to the high-posters soon ! :thmbsp: . Goals by 2000th post: No carpal tunnel syndrome! :D. Seriously, though, get my TEAC A-3340S refurbed and possibly a decent turntable. So, who thinks that I have too much time on my hands?

congrats, David.

Glad to have such a young enthusiast on board.

But do yourself a favor, and don't forget to chase some of those cute cheerleaders at your high school as well. And give their moms my phone number while you're at it.

Best wishes to you, and may Santa bring you some nice Holiday presents with brushed aluminum faces and twiddly knobs and dancing meters this year.

.....you're doing a fine job, David, and I would have never guessed your being 15 years of age....the interests listed in your bio reflect someone who is trying to learn....and, imo, you're not a teen-aged person who seeks to impress others by posting constant silly blabbering with content that makes little sense....keep up the good work.....

Most the those cute cheerleaders are starting to like my music.....:D. That is a good thing. I do not go after them, though.....too "loose" (I know, I do not sound like a normal teen) and I have no chance with them anyways. I gave me a TEAC A-3340S a couple months ago...and maybe some Advents are on the way. Possibly ANOTHER 3340.....:D

The repressed girls that attend catholic school and the "freaky" art-school girls are neater and more interesting any-hoo...

Plus, they'll appreciate your 10" reel to reel more...

In southern Idaho we had the mormon girls... Now thats the way to go!

Congrats on the 1000th, I guess you left me in the dust for the same amount of time. lol

Congratulations on the big "Millenium" post. Good to see younger people who appreciate vintage audio; it gives us older coots hope that the gear we treasure won't be entirely abandoned after we aren't around any more.

As for the loose cheerleaders, yeah, leave them alone. Thedelihaus has it right about the catholic school girls and the arty ones. Not so spoiled and "high maintenance", and a LOT more fun, without being "too loose"! :D There are always a lot of very nice girls around, just outside of the "social spotlight" who get overlooked, but who are diamonds in disguise, and well worth pursuing. At 15, you still have plenty of time to learn all this firsthand (lucky you!).

Looking forward to reading the next 1000 posts about all your audio finds and adventures!

1K posts ?!? An' you only been here since OCTOBER ?!? Holy Merde', Kiddo, didja take time off to go to the can ? (grin) At this rate, you'll pass ME about next July or so...And with girls, remember, all that glitters is NOT gold...The flashy ones are too stuck on themselves, & unless you're the biggest studly in school they won't give you the time of day anyhow...

They only give me the time of day if they need the next answer on a test. :D

Also, most students don't know what a reel to reel is. Some of my teachers don't even know what one is.....:tears:

Congrats David! 1K posts in a months time? Heck, you'll pass me in five more months! :thmbsp:

If you wanna be happy for the rest of your life never make a pretty woman your wife. So for my personal point of view get an ugly girl to marry you. ;)

Congrats.
Only took me two years.
Obviously I need to work on my typing skills.
Or find something interesting to say.
