shame it's not open to the public! I would spend several days in there, then several more days going through the archives! thanks for another great link.
the 80s Riveria convert was neat but the factory did build turbo Rivs in those days, just not twin turbo 450hp ones!

At least SOMEBODY cared about preserving the "Might Have Beens".. Wonder whatever happened to the 1933 Aerodynamic Cadillac V-16 Coupe ?

Yep. It was a show car in '33, had the more graceful & classic front end the 1933 Cads had. In 1934, Cad went to GM's 1st independent front suspension, which gave a much better ride, but made the front ends of cars look kinda lumpy & gross. From 1934-37, when this series of Cads were phased out, I think a couple dozen or so of these cars were made. They were GARGANTUAN- 154" wheelbases, longest EVER on a production automobile, & vehicle weights of 6-7000lbs were the norm. Cad had their in-house coachbuilder, Fleetwood, draw up a tantalizing assortment of wild, exotic designs- Phaetons, roadsters, town cars, etc, etc, but most of the few that were actually produced were the huge, slightly sinister looking 5 &7 passenger sedans.

Oh man, that's wonderful.

Unfortunately they don't house any of my favorite GM cars, but I can forgive them for that.
