16” tonearm just for fun

…or maybe not. I’m trying to get an old sony tts 4000 turntable complete (deck under construction so that’s fine). The original had a 16” tonearm. Is there any way of obtaining such a thing without a mortgage? Otherwise I won’t need to make the deck so big! Thanks in advance

You could roll your own. If it's just the idea of length, I'd probably start out with an existing tonearm and then replace the tube (and the wires, since the originals would be too short).
