This post is purely for posterity, in the hopes that the Great Index In The Sky will produce a meaningful result for the query "1625 settings Hickok 600A" in future generations.

1625: Fil. = 12.6, Selectors = JR-4036-0, Bias = 25, English = 85, Press = P4, Mutual Conductance = 3800, Cap = P

Extrapolated from the settings for the 807 (which, unlike the 1625, was in the roll chart on my unit).

I am planning a 40W/ch pentode amp .. 485V to the center tap of an 8K output transformer, with 300V on the screens ought to just about do it, -32V nominal bias point. That ends up being just about a perfect drop-in for the 5-20 type front end I used on my 6L6GC UL amp (which had nominal -35V bias point for the output stage). The Edcor XPWR117 seems like a perfect PT for this application (especially if you have a stash of 12SN7s). The key to using these tubes effectively is taking advantage of the high plate voltage rating and using a high-impedance output transformer, otherwise they're basically 6L6GBs. They draw relatively little current.

I have a buddy up in Portland who plays guitar in a couple of bands who also happens to be a WWII aircraft buff... considering the history of this tube type, he might also appreciate a JTM45-style amp that sports a pair of these.
