Here is a video I made documenting a repair I did on the 59 Gibsonette using some extra care to keep the components looking as stock as possible. This one was plugged in when it should not have been so every thing needed to be tested after a complete burn out.

Its difficult to roll camera while troubleshooting especially when there are lots of problems to deal with, luckily the issue with this amp was obvious, the Danelectro I posted yesterday had many issues with it and was quite a nightmare to solve for.
 
Looks like the gibsonette is back on the bench due to a failed capacitor which ive tested with the genrad 1650 at the end of the movie.
 
and once again, more issues, not only did the resistors climb sufficiently to cut out the plate voltages on the 12AX7 to under 100v but the speaker coil was damaged... this poor amp...
