True enough, but it wouldn't be that hard to fix for someone talented at restoring furniture. Turn some legs on a lathe, make up some wood-based filler to fill the remaining seam, mix the stain to match...

Very true, I was contemplating this. But at the end, don't go taking the ol girl dancing. Once someone scooted it across the floor a leg would brake. Could be done though, good craftsmen are few and far between now....
