Can anyone tell me anything about a Fischer 1967 am/fm phono console. Sorry I do not have a model number. Seller has sent me a few pics. I can read on the receiver "phillamonic".
And it has a garrad turntable. Looks to be in excellent condition with spare phone needles and original owners manual. The asking price is 300. Curious as to whether it's worth it or not.

This is a 1965 Philharmonic P290-P or PM depending on Fruitwood or Mahoghany, which is the BOTL CONSOLE. The Allegro was below it, but the Allegro is not considered a console. Good solid console, with a proven chassis. This is the 3rd year the philharmonic used this chassis with various minor changes including the chassis #. 1966 was the last year for a tubed Philharmonic.

Garrard AT-6 turntable.

One Ben Franklin, 2 Andy Jackson's, and 1 Alex Hamilton. And that's at the high end.
