I would imagine that many of us have developed habitual ways of using AK...where's the first place you go after logging on?

For me, in order, it's:

1) Vinyl only spin list. 99% of the time that's stop #1 for me...gotta see what everyone's been spinnin'.
2) Introductions. A quick wave to new folks here.
3) General Audio Discussion. AKA the AK potpourri of audio.
4) Back to the Music forum...particularly music scores & new vinyl finds.
5) General off-topic. Anyone got a birthday?

Then it's hopscotching all over the place. AK is a fun maze full of interesting twists & turns.

Directly to new posts.
If these get exhausted, I switch to individual forums, like Tape, Speakers and Turntables. All the rest I catch by new posts.
 
usually look at any threads I have been crapping.....er....I mean...involved in.
then here to check birthdays and what's happening in the world
then the music forum because that's what it's all about
 
Recently retired so my morning routine is two or three newspapers online ( usually the sports sections)
Then to AK
Pms
new posts
then whatever catches my interest for that particular moment.
 
I go to PM's if any, and then to new posts. If it's been awhile since I've logged on and there's 20 pages or better, I usually visit Exclusively Sansui and then Barter town.

Always New Posts for me. I'm curious from posts in this thread. Are there ways to isolate posts you have replied to and a way to bring up posts you have started, other than going to your own user CP?
 
1st- User CP to see what activity there is with threads I'm involved in
2nd- Barter Town - I'm avoiding CraigsList but I'm still on the lookout for stuff I didn't know I can't live without
3rd- New Posts - I'm a sucker for 'new'

This is my schedule, too. Then off to various sub-forums or the search function if there is something specific on my mind.
