Well I for one, hope this happens, Danika Patrick has a viable shot to make history today 12pmEDT 9amPDT, she's already shown the boy's her rear end enough:D to let them know she has what it takes to pull this off:thmbsp:

You Go Girl! There are only a few pro sports where women can compete side by side with the guys, racing of anytype is one of them, they can get hurt or worse, killed just like anybody else. Ashley Force(Funny car drag racing) shows the same intensity that her famous father does, Danika looked equally intense this whole month, She Wants to pull this off, BAD:thmbsp:

There's been a few dabbled in what we used to call Winston Cup, but none were ever very successful.

Do you think NASCAR racing is tougher, or just easier to get a good sponsor for a woman in Indycar? :scratch2:

I've always thought she could be a strong presence in NASCAR, she wants the Indy title for right now(but, then that's what Tony said before he made the jump!) She would have No problem gettin' a Major sponsor in NASCAR, she's got the all-American girl look in Spades:thmbsp::D she's very comfortable in front of the camera, she's every sponsors dream, she could sell every t-shirt, hat, poster, flag, they could make. I'd buy her stuff and wear it proudly:D

Good thing they stopped her when they did, there could have been a fatality!
 
Crashed again

I like DP but she looks so silly walking with that huge helmet and her little body. It's racing and stuff happens. Remember last year when she almost creamed the safety crew cruising around the track under yellow. I recall she had flat spotted her tires just earlier and should have known a tire could blow. It did! I'd like to see her win again. I'm glad she won a few races ago.

Casey used to have his own bodyguard even when he was racing Midgets. While talented his mouth back then used to write checks his ass could not cash. I seen it a few times in person that Bob East would have to handle his issues.:smoke:
 
She has already won one an INDY CAR race she will most likely win another. It looked to me as if she was doing her job quite well but her horse wasn't up to the race. Her talk of running at terminal velocity (another words flat on the floor nothing more to offer) told me the car was off the pace. I thought she did very well with a lame horse holding her starting position most of the day.

As to her walking down and "discussing racing edicate with the yahoo that knocked her out, I don't remember which race it was a while back she got all up some other guys face so she's no shrinking violet and in the world she has chosen she needs to be a bit on the Kick ass side.

If she goes into NASCAR she might need to do some Kick boxing lessons. So of them old boys play rough!

and I can agree with wanting to have a word or two
with the other driver~
My hats off to her!
