2 Channel Amp

I am considering setting up dedicated 2 channel setup. Currently looking at the following amplifiers:

Denon PMA655R, PMA777 and PMA700
Yamaha A500, AX400.

Anyone have experience with these? I will be running Thorens TD320 TT via CA 640P preamp. Music preference varies from Classical through to Punk so pretty much everything. No speakers selected yet but leaning towards B&W 683 or 705s.

I have a Yamaha AX400 myself and have been using it for the past two years without any problems. I'm not going to pretend that I know what I'm talking about, but to my ears it sounds great. Just turn the loudness down and the volume up, and it's good to go!
