2 Channel system & Home Theater Setups

RobFixter

Shhhh, just listen :)
I am pretty happy with my 2 channel setup. I just relocated the sub to the corner from where it is located in this pics. Playing with placement.

Now I am working on my Home Theater setup ... it is a work in progress. I want to do 4 in ceiling speakers for side and rear surrounds.

Always a work in progress :)

id be pretty happy with it aswell. great job

I am planning to combine / share my 2-channel with a HT system - Thinking of an input switch to change the inputs to the stereo pre-amp to the HT Pro-Pre and the outputs to the 'main' Stereo speakers -

I wonder if anyone has done this and how did you impliment it?

I am also thinking of finding a 12vdc trigger signal-controlled power strip ./ conditioner so that the HT amps can be switched on only when the Pre-Pro is switched on -

Any input (pun fully intended) is welcome!

Nice and clean setups!

Initially I wanted to combine 2-ch and HT systems. It didn't work out and they are separate and actually I am much happier this way. I can listen to music while someone else in the household is watching tv.

Nice! I have a vintage stereo in one room and a 5.1 home theater in another. To me they sound totally different and I have no desire to combine them or play music in the home theater.
