2 Pioneer Spec 2

OK I am acquiring vintage SS amps when and where I can. There is a person not too far away who has 2 Pioneer Spec 2's and 2 Pioneer Spec 4's he wanted to pass along. I told him I would take both the Spec 2's. I am sure there
are many that are very familiar with the Spec 2. I am very green when it comes to power amps. Do I have options when setting these up? Could i use one preamp for both? Can they be bridged ect? I was just wondering what the best options would be? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.......

They can not be bridged. They have no options - it's just plug and play. They have volume pots so you don't need a pre-amp. In fact, they play best when used alone.

You do not need two.

They will need to be thoroughly restored, as they simply cannot function properly anymore. Maybe they'll play, but they won't play well. This model has real issues.

The SPEC-1 has two pre-outs, so if you really need two SPEC-2s, you can plug both into the SPEC-1.
