OHM's are considered great speakers but this model 'E' is not favored by many.
The Utah ones look like good value. I listened to smaller Utah model and was nice/okay.

Well the Model E's are some really nice units, they work best for vocals and low level playing. I think that they were a little too light for me, I'm a Dynaco fan so I'm a little spoiled lol. They are really a great speaker, just depends if you need something like them to use. I wouldn't say that it's a huge score by any means at the price point, they are however clean and would be a nice speaker for a new starter system.

The Utah's are always a fun speaker, they most of the time are considered "low end". However there are some nice and easy mods that can be done that really bring them alive. They were well made for the most part, the internals left something to desire though.

Just depends on what your planning to do with them

Ohm made some really good speakers and some pretty okay speakers. Those would be in the pretty okay category, except ALL the drivers have been replaced, so they are DIY speakers now of unknown quality now.

I've never heard a Utah speaker I liked very much, but some people seem to have a great time tweaking some of their big speakers with horns. That said, those look like some pretty nice cabinets for $40, no matter what's in them.

Good catch.
The original Model E look likes this:

The Utah cabs look like they're worth the $40 themselves....

Yeah, those cabinets look pretty clean, and the fact that they have 15's means you have some options to to upgrade the cabs with some other nice speakers down the road. Plus, you may get $10 knocked off if you haggle... so, $30 for those utah's would be a great deal! Remember, most utah's have 12's...
