2226B Bias help needed

I am trying to resurrect a 2226B that I just received. Its VERY dirty inside. I'll need to clean it well before powering it up. Then I want to set the bias.

Does anyone have any technical information such as bias setting procedures or possibly a service manual for this unit?

There's a 2226B service manual in the Marantz database here in the forum. It's a sticky at the very top. The manual has procedures for setting bias voltage, DC offset, and the voltage regulator. Go about it carefully and you should be good to go. While you're cleaning, check for leaky caps or bad solder joints. If your boards are really dirty, compressed air works good for blowing out the dust, then it's alcohol and q-tips. You won't hurt anything if you let it dry. And get some Deoxit D5 for the pots and switches. Also, let's see some before and after pics!
