2230 - only 3.2 volts at dial pointer lamp.

I re-lamped my 2230 and noticed that the dial pointer lamp was not working. Metered the wires and found only 3.2-volts. Any thoughts on what the problem could be, or where to start looking? This is my first Marantz receiver.

Dial pointer lamp is fed through selector switch in AM and FM positions.
Did you deox the switches?

It was unfamiliarity coupled with operator error. Wlhd1610 clued me in when he wrote that the dial pointer lamp is fed through the selector switch....

Once I actually set the selector to AM / FM, it lit right up.... DOH!!!!
