2230b: 2 turntables?

I have a 2230b and all of a sudden a "multitude" of turntables. I want to run at least two. Since the 2230b has only one phono input, can I just get a preamp and feed a 2nd turntable through that and then into the AUX or even the Tape input on the 2230b?

I'm a little hazy on this topic.

Yeah, phono stage into AUX or any of the tape inputs will work fine.

yes a phono pre into the AUX will work. i also use this low noise phono switch from rek-o-kut then you can you the phono input on the receiver for 2 tables, its worked well for me with no hum. Marantz has very good phono input and ive found it takes a pretty good phono pre to better it
