2238B channels not tracking

Question from a rookie. 2238b both channels volume increase together until around 9oclock on the dial, then there seems to be a dead spot. Continue turning volume and there is a dramatic increase in the right volume but left is noticeably quieter than the right for the rest of the volume increase. Pots have all been cleaned. Tape monitor was my main issue, that has been cleaned and operational now. Could this just be a bad pot or is there some else that’s common on these? Asking the pros….

Checked the pot. It’s good. Signals track fine at resistors RE13 and RE14. Guess I’ll work my down the path. Just hoping someone knew right where to go.

Scratch that. Forgot to hook my dummy load before testing. It does appear to be the pot. I’m gonna take it apart and see if it’s saveable.
