2238B tuner pointer variant

While restoring my old 2238B, I was planning on changing the bulbs to LEDs. However, looking at the tuner pointer I don't see how I can change the bulb, and it is unlike any other Marantz pointer I've seen before?

Do I have any options for this? Thankfully, unlike many of the other bulbs, this one does light up (so I don't have to do anything now). As you can tell from the glue, it does appear original. Not sure what year production; SN U100759.

A light up dial pointer isn't too unusual. And yes, there are LEDs available to retrofit if/when the incandescent grain of wheat bulb in it fails. A bit of a delicate operation. You definitely don't want to snap the plexi pointer off.

I use a T-1 red LED and rewire the AC voltage side to the +13Vdc supply via a resistor. You have to cut/sand off the flange of the LED to fit the housing.
