2250B Power Switch

This 2250B has an issue with the power switch that it won't stay engaged. Measuring resistance across the current connections indeed show the pads must be really worn out. Instead of swapping it out, I just connected them to the other side and that seems to work. Just wanted to ask and make sure it is OK to do this. It does seem to do the job.

All 4 connectors should have been used in the first place to help with handling in-rush current imo, only issue I could see here is I have seen worn contacts arc weld themselves shut on these switches. I think you should be okay though.

That's my hope as well - thank you for confirming that they should have been connected together. I'll leave it as is for now.
