2250b volume pot

Hey ladies and gents,

I'm trying to work out what part I need to replace a volume pot in a 2250b. I found a thread the other day which had the part number and specs required but I can't for the life of me find it again.

After going through my history I found the ebay search results that came up when I inputed the specs quoted on here. This is what it cam up with...

I'm pretty new to this game so is this part acceptable or is it a big no no to put non original pots in the receiver?

Make sure that the replacement volume pot has the extra terminals mid way for the loudness control circuitry.

Pots can be linear or logarithmic as well...not sure which type applies here. Catrafter can probably help. As already stated, you also want one with a loudness tap.

This one may be more appropriate - I got one to fix a Sansui model Seven and it worked great.
As far as keeping it all original - that would be nice but perhaps not practical.
