2270 Always Mono

I have a 2270 that someone who knew enough to be dangerous “restored”, and the unit is always in mono and the balance control just quiets both channels. either way it’s turned.

This suggests the channels are tied together somewhere, correct?

I bet you're right Ivan. Time to just feed one channel a sine wave and have a look around with an oscope!

It was just a headphone issue, someone previously put in too long of a foot screw and wrecked the jack to some extent.
