Adjusted offset and bias this afternoon- no issues. Trimmers adjusted cleanly and was able to set to specs with no problems. Health of amp boards seems pretty good. Gonna run it in the shop and push it a little here and there while waiting on a lamp kit in the mail.

Suggest to first test using load resistor(s) vs speakers unless you do not care about blowing up the odd speaker here and there, if something decides to fail unexpectedly.

Nothing out in the shop would be much of a loss if something let go- I have inexpensive parts express bookshelf speakers on either side of the bench- and an old pair of goodwill Sansui S-61U's after it passes the bench. If something starts acting like a speaker killer I usually just hook up an old woofer I have laying around so that I can watch what its doing. I do have some load resistors somewhere that I bought years ago when I was fooling around with trying to learn car audio amp repairs. Need to dig them out and see what they were- my recollection was that they were pretty stout. What sort of resistance values would be appropriate for these vintage receivers?

Well 8 Ohms stands to reason for these receivers- guess I walked right into that one. :) I'm not 100% on exactly how the dummy loads are applied and what wattage they should be. I never really got far enough with the car audio repairs to ever put together a load bank. I looked and the resistors I have are Ohmite 4 & 2 Ohm, 50 W.
