2325 Power Switch and Snubber Replacement

I’m replacing the power switch and snubber with ones from eBay.

What I believe to be the existing snubber is difficult to get to. I am hoping to be able to solder the new snubber directly to the new switch. I will cut the existing one out.

Is this going to be ok?

I don't see why it would be a problem. It may confuse the next guy - if there is a next guy.

I was getting frustrated with installing the new switch mostly because of the small holes. I opened up a non working tape deck and found a switch like the one from the Marantz so I am using it.
