You're new here.. would be appreciated by all (and put a feather in your cap ) If you can confirm my results are on the problematic list or obsolete etc.. oft. these cross ref searches don't include that info.

Another one to consider is KSC2073.

2sc1419 is relatively slow and low wattage for that size case, which mean almost anthing will work. Kenwood used them a lot as voltage rgulator pass transistor.
Normally used as a pass transistor for voltage regulator or low power amplifier outputs. Bottom line is about anything will work.
KSD526 or ksc2073 are excellent replacements.
TIP29A would be about equivalent (higher power but lower current). TIP31A (or B or C) or TIP41A (again or B or C) can be used but higher power. No longer available but equivalent 2sd330. Higher wattage 2sc798, 2sd313, 2sd613. Many more are possible. My 2 cents.
