2SC1885 NPN transistor replacement (TO92)

Hi all,
i found in many threads here that the 2SC2911 substitutes very well the obsolete 2SC1885.
But it's a TO126 instead of a TO92.
Anyone knows a TO92 that would do the job ?

What is it going in? and where? - I have had a few instances now where the TO-92L package transistors are a bit over stressed by heat, changing to a different package is not a disadvantage unless there are severe space constraints.

the D588/B618 I had replaced with FJP5200RTU and FJP1943RTU respectively. however, the 5200 seems to be no longer made and mouser has over a thou of the 1943 compliment, - go figure, however, if space is not a problem, they make the same spec in a larger power handling TO3P package
