2SD360 + misc questions on motor / relay bord of Akai GX-600D

Hi,

I'm posting the question here as it's prurely related to solid state circuitry and not tape itself.
I'm repairing an old Akai GX-600D PRO (2 track) recorder.
The schematic below shows a 2SD360 NPN transistor right after the diode bridge. This transistor was replaced by a TIP42B (same pinout, but... PNP).
Of course the TIP42B is B-C shorted and the 24V zener diode open.
The WZ-240 zener diode will be replaced by a 1N5252 (24V 500mW).
The rectifier diodes will be replaced by 1N5404G (they test ok but for safety purposes they don't cost much to replace).

What I'd like to know is what would best replace the 2SD360.
I could put a KSC2073 which I have in stock, or I can order a TIP48 which I have seen used on very similar Akai models. From the schematic it seems that quite a number of references would replace the 2SD360. What do you think ?

Finally, there are a number of R+C networks (where C is 0.1µF at 250Vac and R is 120 ohms).
Is there a known direct replacement or would I rather opt for separate components ?

Thanks for the hints. So I'll go for the KSC2073.
I found new RIFAs (0.1 + 100R) at 1/3 of the EMI price. There are 21 of these in this recorder, never seen that much ! I wonder if they really need to be replaced.
I hope the other two trannies on the relay board are still ok. Else I'll have to search for a sub (as always) which shouldn't be hard considering their operation.

RIFAs are here at RS but these are 100R + 0.1µF although that won't make any difference in the machine.

Hello @david winter, is 2sd360 replacement worked? I need to replace it in my gx 600db. I have 2sd880, I am consider to replace it with 2sd360.

Yes, worked fine using KSC2073.
