2SK246 JFET Replacement HELP NEEDED

I traced a fault in my Sony TA-F555ES integrated amp to a faulty JFET, 2SK246. After searching multiple forums, I can't find anything available on Mouser or Digikey as a replacement, with the possible exception of the following:

InterFet J507, which is extremely expensive, but in stock.

Can anyone tell me if this would be a suitable substitute or recommend a cheaper replacement that is in stock?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

you cannot swap n channel for p channel .... or visa versa ....

Aren't 2SK246 and J507 both N-Channel?

I will try that part from B+D.

2SJ507 No.. J is P-channel. K is N-channel.

A 2SJ507 would be a p-channel jfet if it existed but a
J507 is a InterFet part
N-Ch JFET 50V 20mA 360mW 1.8Vf 2pF
A simple google search found that out
