I think he's sick of lowlife bottom feeders:) Actually...If he has nice records, $3 a pop ain't garage sale territory but it beats gambling on the 'bay. I'd want to contact him & see what he has...might just find one you've been looking for for years for less than the cost of a Happy Meal.
 
Wouldn't like him so wouldn't do business with him. Somebody can be rough and be a great person, but this guy is rough AND defensive at introduction...I'd pass.
 
To summarize the ad

I'd go just for the experience but that's just me. 3 bucks a pop can be a great deal depending on the quality and selections.
 
An experienced, quality retailer would be more aware of the fact that anything they say to customers they don't like, within earshot of other customers, is going to be overheard, with collateral damage. Craigslisters often lack such finesse.
 
I think Urchinn is right... the fevered brain that came up with that ad copy probably has esoteric taste in music and bought some decent vinyl back in the day...

Bring a friend and a pocket full of singles.
