Not to be negative but ive never understood what the attraction is to the heresy??After owning literally over 100 pairs of speakers in my day in my opinion there one of the worst sounding out there.Ive owned and flipped 3 pairs of these in that time just to make a few bucks not for there sonic attributes.
I might consider 50.00 just to flip
I do enjoy most things Klipsch in vintage speakers just not that model

I heard a set about a month ago and thought they sounded great. Different strokes for different folks. $300 is a nice price.

I've never heard a pair. But love horn speakers....!

Use to have a pair of La Scalas and never should have sold em!

Many people think Heresys are light on the bottom end. I used to sell them and have always liked them. However if that's the issue, pairing them with a sub would not be a bad idea. I've hear them that way and was very impressed.

they are a far cry away from La Scala territory. They lack bass for sure and I was never impressed with the midrange.I believe the box's are just too small for the driver compliment, theres a reason these sell for short money.
I'm also a fan of horn loaded speakers with 3 main sets all sporting compression/ring radiators horns
Also not a fan of needing to use subs in addition, more a fan of single point source
The original heresy cabinets do look fine tho when the veneer is up to snuff

I felt the exact same way until I heard it. They were stacked on subs, so still a single point source.
