What is fair market value for a pristine pair of 312 University 3 Way Diffaxial Drivers/Speakers?
Any value thoughts from the experts in vintage drivers?

I picked up a pair locally from somone needing to dispose of an vintage console, thus I no cabinets for the drivers. They look to be pristine and I have them still attached to their grills to help protect them. I do have the original brillance control, knob and control faceplate, forgot to take a picture of the knob and faceplate.

The lot included a The Fisher Model FM-50-B FM Stereo Tuner and Rek-O-Kut Rondine Jr. L-34 turntable. I will be testing out the tuner and building a plinth for the turntable and probably keeping those. The drivers, turntable and tuner all appears to be in pristine condition.

I did find a single driver sold on ebay for $470 that was not pristine.

Another single driver with a damaged/repaired cone sold for $119.

I would like to know fair market value for the drivers.

Any value thoughts from the experts in vintage 3 way drivers?

It looks like yours are newer then the single driver but older then the pair that sold.

I would say they are in the 5-600 dollar range in that condition. Do they have the EV style horn opening?
 
I'm not sure that I would use an ePay crazy sale price to justify their value. It seems that the past 6-12 months have seen a rise in prices for the older full rangers? IMO they are probably worth about $400 to someone looking for a nice pair. Of course that is full retail, not an old AK member, lol. I have the first generation 312's and a pair of EV LT-12 drivers. Not sure that I would spend any more since you can find many nice speakers for less then $400??? Post them for what you want to get with a Buy It Now (BIN) price that's reasonable, if nobody bites wait a month and do it again. Best of of luck to you!
 
There's a nice pair that just got listed on eBay for $500, which seems to be about the going rate based on the last few sales. Not sure what the deal is with that $470 single (it is a different version certainly).

Keep in mind that local sale will definitely be less.

I’ll play with them for a month or so. You might find them on bartertown in the near future.
