$35 handling fee?

$35 for "handling" a pair of Sansui AU/TU rack handles?
And $56 to mail them, to me.
One way of getting around fees I guess.

Not that it makes it any more reasonable, but the $56 includes the $35 - as I read the ad. ($21 postage is about right to Canada from US...perhaps a bit high for a small item..)

a) I refuse to deal with people like this- you can guess who easy it will be to resolve a problem when this attitude is 'up front'.
b)Report him to eBay - obvious attempt to avoid paying eBay fees.

Why does ebay frown on this?
I need pair of handles for my TU-717 but no way am I going to pay $35 to handle them.
But isn't it ok to charge for packing? I'm not saying that these handles need anything more than a small box with whatever for padding.

ebay knows what a reasonable handling fee is - $35 ain't it.

You often read about 'impulse buyers' who bid on things without reading the 'fine print'....
$325 handling fee- guy is a crook.
I got charged a $50 'packing fee' (on a 5 lb SS power supply) by a California 'surplus' place early in my eBay buying days. Learned my lesson....I wouldn't put up with that crap now....It's the difference between having 3 feedbacks and 800.......

C'mon guys! They're handles...

Much as some of you might believe in "burning in" interconnects, crossover caps or woofer surrounds, I don't believe that handles will handle properly until they have been properly handled. 30 - 40 hours of handling - gentle at first, but with increasing intensity - usually results in a Happy Ending.:smoke: That's gotta be worth 35 bucks.
