Stand them up on the short sides.
Put them on short stands or Bases
Add some Velcro to turn the lenses Horizontally
Move them out away from the wall
And side walls.
Put down a throw rug
Use a nice sounding tube amp on the high end
And finally Move the car
Ask me how I know

Thanks! Never thought about vertical. Did you put woofers closer or apart?

I will move first and try a carpet.

It's more important to get the mids and highs right in your room for some kind of imaging. depending on how far apart they are.
Those little horn/lenses attached to the powerful 2440 drivers.have a relatively small sweet spot.
I have some nice wood Smith horn clones that are much better
Put them on Dollies and experiment with placements.
don't forget to rotate the slots as well, as the lenses.
woofers to the outside walls can help for additional Bass support. not that they need much help with the big Mac power you have.

It depends a lot on what you expect from them in that environment.

If just a lot of music, loud and room-filling, pretty easy. If you want good imaging and accurate presentation, no easy answer. Ceiling/joists, floor, car, walls, toolbox, ... all going to create so much reflection it's all going to be a compromise, using the space primarily for a garage & workspace and its secondary purpose being for stereo music, one will need to give to the other.

These speakers are not great at low volume
Detailed Imaging.
But if you like to duplicate sitting in
Concert hall , give them some space
Turn up the Macs and enjoy
Btw it states in the owner’s literature
They can cause permanent hearing Loss

Correct, they are way to big for my neighborhood much less my 20x30' garage. Enormous sound.

Look at those poor L300 shells pushed into the corner
Just waiting for their time to sing again
Love the reflection of the JBLs in the Black Lambo
Would be a cool wrap
