4365 4367 4369 owners

I’m curious to hear from other 436x speaker owners: Are you (still) happy with them, how long have you owned them, what amplification are they paired with, what do you like and dislike about them? Also are you considering changing to something else (what)?

I keep watching for the 4369s to become available, trying to decide how tempted I’ll be and if there’s any point to changing from the 4367 to 4369.

I just can't see the justification for the increase in price.
Sure the cabinet is Taller, 20 Lbs heavier, has a different new woofer,
apparently an advanced new X-over, and they now come with Iso-acoustic footers.
I now see the 4367's are available for 8,750 when available.
Can you justify spending close to 23K for the New and improved 4369's?,
Knowing you probably will not get even 8K for your older but no doubt still near mint 4367's?
Only you can answer that.

I’ve not yet found a pair to audition, which is part of why I am asking. I’ve played the upgrade game a long time, starting to keep cars a long time, my newest amplifier is now ten years old, speakers now five years old, I don’t really think I need to keep updating (or upgrading) unless there truly is a difference.

Maybe AXPONA next spring.

Greg Timbers has been an influence. I remember watching an interview where he talks about small gains in technology. This could be it.

On a personal level, we are entering a realm of potentially owning a used pair of Everest. That would be a once in a lifetime purchase and the repair parts situation is my big concern. With the two systems I have, there is a repair path or parts on the shelf.
