Wow, did it go by fast. I met my wife in high school. She was a year younger than me. I saw her at a dance and asked a buddy what her name was. I told him that was the woman I was going to marry. I don't know why I would think that at 17, but I had this premonition.
We began dating in January, 1969. We went to different colleges but managed to stay together. We married in 1974 right out of college. We had 5 children and a very busy household. It has been quite a ride, but it has been fun.
This is my tribute to a great wife who worked 41 years as an OB nurse doing 12 hour shifts and raising our kids. Now she's the ultimate Grandma with our 3rd grandchild arriving less than 2 weeks ago. Thank you for all you do and have done to nurture our family and give us a happy life.
