50 ohm L-pad question

I have to replace four 50 ohm L-pads and cannot seem to locate a source for new, only 4, 8, 16, versions available.

So I replaced them with 8 ohm L-pads but worried about changes to crossover due to different value. Someone stated that the 8 ohm L-pad could be modified to 50 ohms with a resistor.

Could someone explain how to do this and what size and type of resistor I would need?
