The last time I listened to a 500A I didn't like it. Posted in this forum to ask how it really sounded and I didn't get much reply. I am assuming that it sounded that way maybe somebody made a mistake in fixing it or maybe the transformer has been rewind. Last week I was able to find another 500A that was not working and was wondering how this model really sounded if in good condition. Can anybody help me? How does it compare to the other solid state receivers?
