Thanks Cademan, it's like most switches, turn to the right it click on, and then ajust the balance with it. I've notice on the pre-amp, they are three wires that run from the power balance switch, to the function switch ( phono, riaa, aux, tape), on the bottom, top, if you have it apart, there's another switch of some type piggybacked with standoffs on to it, the three wires coming out of the power balance switch are solder to it, that piggybacked switch clicks "on" when the switch is turned to aux, tape. I'll check for a fuse on the amp, thank you, Bill, I'll post some pics of it a little later, still thinking the switch on the TT might have something to do with it, with the TT on, the power balance switch works, turns off and on, with the TT off the switch does not work.
