These will be shipping very soon. The three pieces, one C22 and two MC75s will be sold in matched sets as pictured in the CES threads.
These exclusive sets are both a tribute to the classic versions while bringing the very best McIntosh tube design in a dual mono block design. If you are a fan of the MC275 and past C22s you will love the 60th set.
If I have given anyone the impression that you can buy only the MC75s or the C22 you have my apologies. These are limited edition matched systems.

Thanks again,
Ron-C

Didn't the MC275 start out that way, as a commemorative? There might be hope in the future....

I believe the MR88 is a different thing altogether. It's not limited edition, and it's not ready to ship as of yet... I think you'll have to wait another month or 2.

My thoughts exactly. I don't have much use for the MC75's, but the C22 sounds like a keeper. Let's hope that McIntosh has the good sense to give product a more permanent spot in their product line-up. Now if only they'll add a vintage faceplate option for the MCD500 and MR88 . . .

Hey! I really like my original MC-75s, although I understand what you mean, Dolstein.

I can slip them in behind the Quads and let them belt it out. Since mine are the original issues, I can't use the balanced input feature or the remote power-on features of the new ones. Bummer. Those are really helpful.

Cheers,

David

A little birdie told me where I can get them individually. :) But I haven't decided if I need either units. I already have a C22ce and Mc275. I recomend asking your dealer if they will seperate them.

The MC75 AU and C22A sets all share the same serial number along with matching numbered and signed Mc-Book. It is a set.

Performance of the MC75 AU amps is the best of any 75/275 version with very high signal to noise ratio and low distortion. Of course being mono amps with the same size power supply of a 275 will give the best stereo separation especially when playing loud.

MR88 was shown at CES and is due to ship soon. It is the new USA tuner model and will stay in the line for some time but could be used with the above or any other McIntosh system.

Thanks,
Ron-C

Understand its US$15k list for the set and additional US$4.5k for the MR88.

I could be wrong but not very far from these numbers!

So Jerry, can we officially call you a "horny" man now? :D

Ahem ... :D

You just let the cat out of the bag! :D

The image is the same, but its the High Violon MkIV version! Spec wise, the XRT is 8Hz lower in performance (16Hz vs 24Hz) but size, well, lets say its like a "fat man vs a thing man" in space occupancy! I still need to get use to not having the XRT30's bass. Oh well, one cant have everything can we? (I am NOT talking about the master or some of you who can, just poor me)!!! :tears:

Space!!! Everything suddenly went lilliputian!

Cheers!

Enjoy your new speakers and don't forget to post some impressions when you get some listening time on them. :thmbsp:
