$65 got me these albums

Went to this guys house he is selling his lp records has over 500. Mostly rock from 60s to 80s.

Lots of great stuff. I chose stuff i liked so i left behind lots of other stuff that others may value more. Some stuff i preselected ended up staying because of scratches. So the 48 or so records i got are in vg+ or better conditions.

48 for $65

At first tally it came out to $87 and he then discounted it to $65. Think i did pretty good at about $1.50 an album. No?

I left behind about maybe another 10 beatles albums that were somewhat scratched which is too bad.

Would they be worth me going back and trying t get them for real cheap since they were scratched up?

Hamburg has funky multi color label back cover date 1977 - original
Blue capitol - '80s pressing
Red apple - '70s pressing
Bowl 1977 capitol - If the cover is embossed, it's a '70s original
Rubber capitol black - either '60s or '80s (they went back to the '60s design around '82)
Sgrt capitol black - ditto
Magical capitol red - mid-late '70s
Yellow sub apple - anywhere from '69-'76
Rr 1 and 2 capitol green 1976 - '80s budget reissue

I have that doors quadra disc... Without a decoder it sounds awful, like jim morrison is way down the hall from the rest of the band.

Great deal, if you plan to keep and listen to 'em. Good deal if you plan to resell 'em. Some great titles, either way, even if they aren't the most valuable pressings.
