6550/KT120 Settings for Hickok TV-7

Howdy y'all. I have done many a search for this, but anything I find seems to just point to a doc that is no longer available. Some suggest just testing these as a 6L6? While the settings work, the minimum reading can't be the same? Any direction appreciated.

Two closest tubes are.

6CA7 6.3V-HS5-3481-Bias=25 Range=D Press-3. ( Min 30)

KT-88 6.3V- HS5-3481- Bias=12 Range=D Press 3 ( Min 44)

Reset line voltage while testing.

I believe that you'd be better served by the test settings listed in the manual for the KT88.

Tube testers usually test an output tube at much lower power than the tube sees in actual use. The tube may work okay in that setting, but will not when used in its intended much more demanding application. Best way to check the tube is in its application. Of course, if the tube is catastrophically bad, the tester would flag that.
