70salesguy and the "frog" men

70salesguy

Only 99 easy payments!
Up until this week, I had never met another AKer in person. I had talked to several on the phone, but not in person.

But this week I met not one but two fellow Akers! I met two "frog" men!

I had dinner and did a little "swapping" with one, which was very nice. As both of us are "former" audio salesguys, we had a lot to talk about. Had a nice dinner and a great visit!

I picked up some goodies from the other at his home. Just as with the first meeting, I was overwhelmed with congeniality and just how friendly and genuine he is.

It was a good week!

I enjoyed it very much 70SG. Thanks for the dinner. I hate we shut the place down. I already have woofers ordered for the speakers.

Oh that turntable in my attic. It is a SL 1300 MK II. Next time the meal is on me. Keep it safe and bring the Caddy next time.

This is also the first AKer I have met. He says alot for the crowd that hangs here.

That was fast. I ordered the woofers Thursday afternoon. I almost fell over them an hour ago when I walked outside. They were on my steps.

Now wire together the dual voice coils and change some clips and I will be good to go.

Strange and ironic as it may sound, I also happen to have a 1300MKII in my possession! Is that odd or what?!

AK'ers are good guys for the most part and we all can talk forever. (good thing sometimes) That's one of the problems with getting older. "Time" becomes my most most precious commodity. Too bad I didn't realize this when I was younger.

Peace,

Mark

Meet me at the edge of town at High Noon. Somebody gonna croak.:D

Geez. That cartoon has been around since the 70's I believe. I think I remember seeing it in National Lampoon or Playboy back in the day. Still a classic thanks!

I see from the youtube-ish controls on the cartoon they must have updated it for the Nintendo generation somehow?! Kids today........sheesh! Can someone do that for me with my "Little Annie Fanny" collection?! :D
