717 Protection light question

Working on a AU717 when turning on the power the protection goes solid as soon as the switch is flipped, but the relay engages about 6 seconds later any idea what might be the cause and all voltages are normal sounds great adjusts right to specs no problems.Thanks

It's the circuit that blinks the light.:yes:

Check the service manual. Section: Operation of protection circuit.
Probably a cap or one of the listed transistors.

Thanks Rob turned out to be TR607 not installed the right way I had replace all the transistors in that circuit and guess I just put it in the wrong way anyways it blinks.This is my own and seems every time you fix something for yourself there is always a mess up along the way:yes:.Post some pictures later this one is MINT!
