Are those the only markings? Image would be helpful. Honestly, in my experience when the weight of the magnet is listed they are usually low end drivers or drivers used for auto applications. I don't know that it's still popular today, but in the 80's and earlier it was common practice to include the weight of the magnet on the driver with car speakers. Sad truth, the weight didn't mean squat.

Yes, those are the only markings - I can post a pic when I get home tonite. I picked up a pair of KLH CB8 Research 10s and these were the woofers that were in it. I put up a previous post asking about them because they didn't look right. When I got them home and took them apart, I confirmed as they were slightly larger than the cutout. I have absolutely no idea what the specs are. The speakers don't sound bad, just not "right" - The bass is kind of mushy all - over the place, no punch. If I could locate some original drivers, I'd replace them but not much on EB at the moment. The other option would be to find soem drivers that match the originals specs, whatever they are, can't find any info on that either. The speakers have a cap and LPAD for the highs, nothing for the woofer although I did put in an inductor to roll it off 1st order around the tweeter xover freq. I only paid $20 for them, the tweets were shor so I replaced them also and I re-furbed the cabs and grills - probably too much considering it isn't original. Oh well, keeps me outta trouble.

Possible they got foam rot and were replaced instead of refoaming. Happens a lot. You might consider subscribing to AK and poke around Bartertown - lots of AKers with drivers laying about. Especially if you can find a pic of the correct one.

Anyway your question was about these replacements. Entirely possible they don't even belong in this type or size of cabinet, who knows. Even if you were to find specs for them - which seems doubtful with no maker ID on them - you don't have them for the original to compare to. And you already know they sound bad. I'd keep looking for a pair of correct originals. If you don't have pics of those from the back with numbers, perhaps the web or AK could come up with them.
