800c phono loading

I was wondering if I could improve the phono section of the 800c by altering the cartridge loading. I am currently using a Shure M97Xe connected to the "phono low" inputs. Looking at the schematic it looks like it has 220kΩ loading? Shure recommends 47k, but I have read some prefer 62k.
Any ideas? John
