80's Pinnacle PN8 Crossover Help

I could use some help analyzing the crossovers in my Pinnacle PN8 3-way speakers. I'm very green in my speaker/crossover knowledge and thought I could use these speakers to help learn and tinker with. They sound a little muddy but not terribly bad. I'm assuming there's no guarantee any tinkering with the crossover will help, but I have to learn and skill-up somehow. So here goes.

This seems like a very basic design for a 3-way speaker. I would assume the capacitors are the only potential update options? Top/Down

1- Solid core inductor? No point in trying to update I would assume.

2- White ceramic resistor? Also no need to update?

3- Silver 22MFD capacitor? Same as 22uF that I could arguably replace?

4- Yellow 2.5K capacitor?? Could use some help interpreting this one into current terminology. Option to replace?

Curious as to your thoughts and thanks in advance from a newby.

The yellow 2.5 uF is a cheap mylar. K is the tolerance, which is +/- 10%. That cap is for the tweeter.

The 22 uF is a cheap electrolytic. It is the shunt cap.

The 1.2 ohm/20 watt is a cheap resistor.

Upgrade all of those.

The inductor you can't upgrade unless you know the value. However, an air core would be an upgrade.

Thanks for the reply. Do you think if I got a hold an LCR meter that it would pick up the spec of the inductor?

Following up on this one. I ended replacing all the crossover components successfully which was nice for my first attempt. For the PN8s there was one piece of folded over cotton for sound treatment so I also went all out and lined the interior with the cheap storm king wool insulation. The mid needed refoaming also which was my first try at that process. All in all they turned out really really good. The sound for this sealed set is better than anything else I have at this moment and has a really nice stage to them. I couldn't find much discussion about these but double thumbs up on worth restoring if you come across a pair in good condition.
